= Brian Fargo, making a cameo while ignoring load screen times - as a playful side note for those whom do not play the Bard's Tale.

I would suggest Sami stories, as much as recognising that gaeli + iiri (Scottish & Irish) as well as kymri (Welsh) languages are dying out, as it stands.

Which is just fecking atrocious!

Faryn Brygo: do not just borrow casually from the lore - give back. Barrow deeper, and support the culture which inspires you.

Had this been a kick starter goal:

"Hire a Gaelic, an Irish, a Welsh and a Sami writer to give us an authentic story, and tp respect the language as a tool of creation."

Fek yeah!

What, you think cultural homogeneity is optional? o.O

How many of your (US) indigineous peoples have the constitutional right for doing their immatriculation examination (=high school end exams unto university) in their native tongue? Anywhere in the USA.

How many of your US indigineous people have the consitutional right to receive kinder garden and doctors' services in their tongue? Aywhere in the USA.

Not many, lest original American in its probably quite the amazing lack of homogenity be heard, spoken and told.

Status of Saami is not graet in Finland, but when I saw in the year I had my matriculation examination that three persons of Inari-saame had done the same, in anarâškielâ, I was happy.

This costs taxes, and I think it is right.

It is easy to be "edgy" when you'd never put your money where your mouth is.

If you ask me, US original nations would deserve comprehensive education in their own tongues. You most likely thought so for yourself. Or?

Randalator: Wat.
Do you not mean "Wut"? ;-)

Germany probably was the European National State second after France - but I rarely get piled on for assuming that Germany tends to bestow a minimum education upon its citizens.

Lest it be the religious thing in Bavaria.

I am surprised you did not know that there are many an original language in Europe that is in course of dying out, because those communities did not hold an economical or military advantage.

Saami across Fenno-Scandia and Russia, and Celtic languages in the British Isles are the ones that can be promoted, and saved.

There aren't exams of these sort in the US, at least not to my knowledge.

(There are standardized tests that most colleges check, like the SAT and ACT, but they're not of the hard pass/fail type.)

Probably. The mxn is pretty vain-glorious, as far as I can tell - when rallying the money passes for the narrative.

Did anyone back Bard's Tale IV while assuming you had to have top gaming rig for the game to load properly??

I have wanted to llove inXile, and have granted them way too much money, compared to NWN2 sequel by Obsidian that I really want to play.

And I kind of imagine "Raven's Cry" of Wasteland2 as "nunnukkalaiaa" scetch Saami of comedy show past in Finland.

Indeed.

I was merely responding to @richlind33 's quip:

"What, you think cultural homogeneity is optional? o.O"

From @richlind33 quip you'd think "Native Americans" should have been thankful to receive the pox infested blankets, when in fact this was a terribly inhumane first instance of biological warfare.

The Americans did not have resistance to pox.

And if anything - to me - when original story telling of a nation does not have educational route to prospertity, heck yeah - cultural homogenity will result.

Any lost languagte is horrendous, tragic loss. Rosetta stone was magnificent. Etruscans being absorbed to romans was a tragedy.

@dtgreene : I do wish you'd like all Americans to have access to fundemental education at their mother tongue, native or imported. The next step is hopefullly telling stories, supplanting Faryn if need be.

Don't blame me, I hate pop "culture". And don't make the mistake of thinking that multiculturalism is about preserving
cultural distinctiveness -- it's strictly about mass relocation.
