I've been unable to chose a female character at the start of the game. Though the option button for chosing a female character is offered, when pressed, it still results in a male character on the following page just like the male button does.

I have no clue if this works, but I found this online:

I had this bug happen to me as well, my issue was i was not launching the game via the script extender and just using steam to launch it

I was having the same issue and launching from that file worked for me as well.

Thanks for the input guys. I finally got it to work by exiting the game completely the day I couldn't get it workign correctly. When I restarted it the next day it was working properly. Not sure what happened. It's not like the game could have been updated between it not working and then working as I don't use Galaxy.

I'm going to leave the thread for a while as there might be others having the same issue.

I have this bug as well. I started the f4se_loader.exe through MO 2 after installing the Conversion as a mod (not using the FL installer). The F4SE logs look ok. I just used the sexchange console command after the intro sequence.

EDIT: For MO 2 users: It seems that MO 2 doesn't recognize F4SE dll files (the script extender itself and plugins from mods). So if you want to use MO 2 with FL, you still need to install F4SE and plugins from 3rd party mods manually. Typically these are mods with dll files in the Data\F4SE\Plugins folder.

EDIT 2: I'm using the GOG version of the game.

How has your playthrough been going? I think when you have the no-female bug, you also don't get to choose traits after you enter your SPECIAL stats, and your level up interface is a mess. Curious what your experience has been.

I'm also using GOG & MO2.
