SargonAelther: No, I'm saying it's both. They broke in a sense that the number stopped going up. It was "frozen (stunted)". So instead of fixing them so they'd start counting properly again, they simply hid/removed the counter entirely.

HunchBluntley: I don't think they did, though. They're still visible for me (though still frozen, obviously). The numbers being invisible for you is probably just another bug caused by the same issue that caused the "frozen count" bug and a couple others.
That, or the fact that I can still see the numbers is the bug. :P
No, you just have an ancient cache that needs clearing. Login on an in-private tab.
I see that the world is desperately trying to catch up to the Fallout universe. Damn near everything is on fire these days and I'm sure these shelters aren't far ahead anymore. /jk

Anyway, I've never really gotten into this series, but always had an eye on it. Tried multiple times wth multiple different Fallouts as my starting point. I think the third entry is where I got the farthest, but have never played New Vegas which was everyone's favorite.

Got them all in my library already. Now it's just a matter of actually getting around to starting to play some of them again.
I played the original two FO games on a pc gamer demo disc or shareware disc around 1998. I didnt play FO again until I got 3 here on gog.

Thanks again for getting FO4!

I tend to shy away from "gunplay" and don't fancy a walk through a minefiled, but kudos to Interplay for making such an interesting world.
