docbear1975: This looks really cool.
I finished Fo1.5 today, and I really enjoyed it.
This and Restoration project are the only good mods for the classic fallout games. Others may disagree, but I played many mods and these 2 are the only ones I would be interested in playing again (with different characters, of course).

It has a nice amount of quests, I believe there's more than in the first Fallout. Some of them are very challenging, you'll have to give your best.

If you liked the dark stuff from Fallout 1, you'll love Fallout 1.5, there's even darker stuff here, not even the poor children are spared.
There's a hopeless atmosphere in this world.
Talking about world, the world map is pretty small, but that's not really a bad thing. Because you can't get a car, in this mod. And there's many mountains, which make your character walk slower than usual.

The economy is pretty well made, IMO.
It's not a walk in the park, like in Fallout 2, to get $$$ and good equipment.
In Fo2 you're swimming in money when you get to San Fran (I always get rich selling shit there).
I'm glad I tagged the Barter skill in the character creation screen, it was pretty useful in this mod.

There's a review of Fallout 1.5 in Starburst, you gOglins may want to read it:

Every fandom has its little divides. From Doctor Who fanatics favouring the current era over the classic to Star Wars fans who deride everything besides the original trilogy, there is always natural split which arises over time. However, few ever become so pronounced as those of the Fallout franchise with its older and newer generation. There remains sadly little crossover between lovers of the old and new games, and in the minds of many you either love Bethesda’s work or you stand adamantly by Black Isle Studios’ legacy. It goes without saying that the latter group has had very little fortune in the past few years, with few to no releases truly capturing the depth or style of the old '90s duology. At least until now.

Some reviews in Moddb:

In case you want to discuss about the mod, post ideas, report bugs, there's a forum:
http://resurrection.cz/forum/index.php

If you haven't tried yet, download this thing. Resurrection is a fitting name, old-school Fallout was dead for a long time. This and killap's Restoration Project are must-play mods.

Thanks for making this thread. Another mod I wouldn't have found otherwise.

Better get it quickly, before Bethesda sue them for "confusing" fans, with the similar title! Because it's so hard to tell the difference between Fallout 1 and Fallout 1.5! =p

More like releasing a mod as a game and it would confuse people that Bethsoft actually produced it.

Something that looking at a gameplay video will answer, quite easily.
You can become a child killer in Fallout 1.5.
So it's definitely not made by Bethesda! Kids in their games somehow acquired immortality.
Also, isometric Fallout produced by Bethesda? Only in our dreams =)

All the more reason for Beth to challenge it, unfortunately. It resembles the original game (not made by Bethsoft, but now owned by them) and takes a different moral stance than Bethsoft. It is falsely representative of them, and could, with that name, be confusing to some fans as an official release. Not all fans are "smart" fans, or in the know about backstage politics and the like.
Let's hope they don't do something so cruel to the poor fans, simply showing love to Fallout franchise.
I think the modders are safe, this is too small to threat Bethesda Fallouts in any way, they will probably ignore it.
Scrolls was something big, unlike Resurrection, so it kinda makes sense what they did. But they are still jerks for doing it.
They seem to like pissing Fallout veterans off, though, so it's definitely a possibility.

What if Bethesda produced an isometric Elder Scrolls game? I think that might be interesting, as, unlike with Fallout, the Elder Scrolls series didn't start out that way.

Incidentally, I actually prefer simple top down tile based graphics (like in the original Wasteland) to isometric graphics.
