So i'm searching for a new SSD around the 480 - 512 GB range.
Actually i want to check prices on other stores (apart from my country).
So i'd like trustworthy but cheap electronic-stores around the EU.

And what's your opinion? Should i wait 1 more year to buy a SSD now or wait for 1 year?

I have to inform you that SanDisk plans to release a 16TB SSD Drive in 2016. So the prices will SURELY drop.
But i can't determine how much.

Cheers fellow GOGlodytes!

can give you prices in - wait for it - The UK, though I haven't used it, so I don't know if it can take international shipping into account. I usually use the [url=https://www.amazon.co.uk/]British, , and [url=https://www.amazon.de/]German editions of Amazon though, as they do tell whether or not a product can be sent internationally.

When I've bought some electronics abroad, it has usually been nierle.com. Not sure if they are the very cheapest, but at least I can get e.g. hard drives from there cheaper than from Finnish stores, partly because then I am able to evade that stupid record label levy that is put on most storage devices here. Also I haven't had any trouble with them, but then I haven't had to seek for refunds or warranties yet either, so I have no experience there...

Depends how much money you have and how urgent you need the 400 GB SSD now. Nobody can know this.

I personally always like to have a good price to value ratio. That's why I roughly look at all the available SS sizes and computed the price per GB ratio and take the highest size that still gives a reasonable price per GB. And the result is that 400GB are around twice as expensive as 200GB. So yes, you should now buy a 400GB SSD in case you need one.
I usually buy my hardware at computeruniverse.net a german online hardware store.

Don't forget though that wherever you buy in the EU you have to pay greek VAT.

For example Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB costs 164,50€ there (with greek VAT).

Just so you know - 4.5 Lei = 1 Euro
Well, I got my first SSD 128gb from a local computer store. Second one a 500gb I got off Amazon. Both have been superb and increase read/write times so much I couldn't go back to mechanical HDDs.

One thing I would point out is if you buy something from a local shop, if it goes wrong its very easy to pop to the shop and get a new one. If you buy abroad, you have the headaches of sending it international shipping, and waiting for a new one etc. Amazon are ok with returns, at least in UK, as you can take it to a local shop from whence it gets picked up.

This French hardware business is great.

Buy a cheap little SSD (+\- 250GB) for your OS and buy a standard HD for all other things.
Personally I've noticed next to no gain in loading speeds when I installed games on the SSD instead of the HD, though I'm using Windows 7, it might be that Windows 10 has better optimization for using SSD's.
