Being born and raised in Germany suffices to be German. Where do you draw the line? First descendent, second descendent? Or do we need "Arier-Ausweis" lol

It is missing because "Terrorism" has a strict meaning: " the use or threatened use of violence (terror) in order to achieve a political, religious, or ideological aim.". So tell me, what aim would that be. To do a time-travel and un-bully him?

Mnemon: Which, by what catpower said (what's the source of that news?), they'd still report in a case of terrorism. What's withheld are names and photos of the people responsible in an attempt to, I guess, not grant them martyr / celebrity status within the Western media. They are turned into anonymous terrorists, not individuals.

So I get the idea - but I am not sure it'll do much given that names and photos will still appear on the internet, on social media, on other media. In the end it's more about the ethics and editorial guidelines of the papers participating - and it is fair enough to let it be their decision.
But people need to see the faces committing these crimes; otherwise, they won't be able to recognise potential threats.

It's clearly censorship, in a country that is supposedly a democracy—even though I've never thought so. As Florian Philippot said in this tweet, this is what a news report would look like by censoring stuff that people should be aware of:
This morning, *bip* committed *bip* *bip* in the city of *bip*. Number of victims: *bip*.
I'm relieved, though, that some papers and probably social media and foreign press will still continue to enlighten our people; even Libération, a left-wing French paper, will continue to show the truth.

It's a marginal phenomenon even in the US...some of those Christian fundamentalists would be pretty scary if they had real power, but they don't, their movement seems to be on the decline, and most of them are non-violent. Totally unlike Islamism which in some countries has mass support and has killed thousands in the last few years.
But then I don't suppose a parochial US liberal like yourself would get that...you guys pride yourself on being oh so cosmopolitan and enlightened, but in some ways you're more stupid than even the dumbest redneck.

I don't know, I still think he was just a teenage nutcase...though it would be interesting to know if his manifesto had any political content.
Negative views of Turks and Arabs don't seem to be that uncommon among Iranians anyway....though the Munich shooter seems to have been an extreme case.

Maybe yes, but he seemed to be interested in Breivik, too - and his attack happened 5 years on, to the day, of that terrorist act.
