RawSteelUT: I don't think I'd call Flashback or Another World/Out of this World a "Euro Platformer," as there was clearly something else that was intended. It's very much a cinematic experience.

A traditional Euro platformer would be something like Jim Power, or Soccer Kid. Another pair of examples would be the James Pond and Zool series of games.

Then of course there's the screen-flip platformers on the EARLY systems, particularly the Miner Willy series, especially Jet Set Willy.
There was quite a lot on the spectrum at least, hundreds of different miner Willy games, don’t forget monty mole, dizzy, and there is one I remember playing a demo for and being rely t steered in but never played the full version which was called switchblade.

Oh, the Willy-style games were legion back then, especially on the Spectrum. Nearly as prolific as modern military shooters in the late oughts.

A couple of quality Euro platformers I recommend that no one's mentioned yet:

Lionheart (Amiga)
The Misadventures of Flink (Amiga/Sega CD)
The Adventures of Lomax (Windows/Playstation)

All of the above also feature graphics by the god-tier pixel artist Henk Nieborg, who also did the background art for some of the Shantae games, and also few non-platformer games on GOG, such as Xeno Crisis.

Some great games already mentioned and as a massive Amiga fan I'm going to add the following to the list.

Flood is often overlooked, made by the legendary team at Bullfrog.
Rainbow Islands and New Zealand Story are two great arcade conversions on the mighty 'Miggy.
Wiz 'n' Liz and The Addams Family are both a lot of fun.
Chuck Rock and its sequel are worth checking out and Rod Land too.
Other games to have a look at are - Elf, Cool Spot, Fire and Ice, Jim Power, Leander, Magic Pockets, Myth, P.P. Hammer, Qwak, Snow Bros, Toki, Traps 'n' Treasure, Yo Joe.

Fury of the Furries (french) springs to mind. (played the DOS version)
One thing I remember was that the resources (sprites, sounds, text) was in workable formats. (The sprites was in an image format called *.pic)

Man, Cool Spot is a game I never thought I'd see anyone else reference in my life. Loved that game.

Amclass: Man, Cool Spot is a game I never thought I'd see anyone else reference in my life. Loved that game.
It's a solid game. Less frantic than a lot of similar games, it has a really laid back vibe to it.
