Hello first post here, maybe you can help me, I have a few hundred games from GOG, but this is a first, hopefully you know this issue, I just bought "This war of mine" but every time I try to download (old fashion way, not using GOG galaxy) I got this "error "invalid_licence"
error_description "User #.... does not have the license for product #...."
But I did purchase it (and got it in my library without any issues) any idea why is this happening?
GoG bot support looks useless, and can't find any direct contact.
Thank you in advance.

Other users had similar problems in the last few days. For them the issue fixed itself within a few minutes/hours. Seems to be some kind of server hiccup

I just want to chime in, I had this issue too with Weird West. Have 28 other games in account and never had this issue. However, the zero transparency from Gog is just not a good way to do business.

Typically, if this is a widespread issue (which it seems like it is), Gog should have information on their support pages that addresses this. Users should not have to inspect web traffic or look at json error messages to figure out the problem.

As it stands, the current support site just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I want to support drm free gaming, but this just leaves me wanting to not use Gog anymore.
Very disappointed in Gog, and i will probably not buy any more games on this platform.

If you want to be a larger player in the gaming market, make your user experience better. Your support site is literally driving your customers away to competing platforms.

It is a new error and it was reported to the tech team, see

Ahh thank you for the information. Hopefully Gog is in a better place in the next few months.

Hickup, maybe... Sounds like multiple databases across multiple systems, and it had a timeout which then assumed you didn't have said license/game.

Time to take down excess systems, run a check on them and reboot, then cycle other systems out until all of them have been cycled.
