1. Why is Forgotton Anne missing from this Square Enix sale?

2. Why is Square Enix no longer listed as the publisher for that game according to GOG's store page (even though they are the publisher, aren't they)?

Yeah, there have been no new releases since the dawn of time.
And even then, the new games were pretty rare; I'm seeing the vast majority of these titles since the day I joined GOG -ofter as part of far better deals.

wolfsite: So chances of one of the later Tomb Raider games being released is? or Final Fantasy?
+1, Although, with how big Final Fantasy is for SE, I really doubt it (I really hope I'm wrong)

OHMYGODJCABOMB: Speaking of Square Enix... Can we finally get Sleeping Dogs and Project: Snowblind?
+1

I already have the Square Enix games that I'm interested in that are currently on sale here, so I am hoping more Tomb Raider/Sleeping Dogs/ or Just Cause titles come here eventually.
Goetia, Fear Effect: Sedna and Dungeon Siege Collection didn't receive any discounts. The latter is especially strange since the Dungeon Siege artwork is featured on the Square Enix sale banner. Looks like they just got this banner from one of the previous Square Enix sales where Dungeon Siege Collection was available.

But hey, at least Dungeon Siege is available on GOG. I still remember how GOG used the Mafia II: Definitive Edition artwork during the 2K Games sale in September 2020. And there is still no information when we will receive this version.

Dogmaus: Murdered: Soul Suspect (2014) has become aged enough for a GOG customers sop?
At this point I don't think the age matters much, it's just that "AAA" publishers don't give (much of) a crap about GOG and GOG customers since GOG is so small and brings in such a small amount of money compared to elsewhere. Tomb Raider Legend is like ~15 years old and we still don't have it. We'll probably keep getting bits and pieces here and there, though.

The problem with the SE sale is that it puts into focus of what is missing. Kingdom Hearts, the newer Tomb Raiders, Final Fantasy, etc. Those games are pretty old and still haven't arrived on the GOG platform (just as Doom 2016 and Skyrim are old-ish and still missing for Bethesda).

mechmouse: Dear SquareEnix,
Please stop taking the piss

Tomb Raiders Legend, Anniversary and Underworld were all sold DRM free via your own store (until you pulled them), yet are still not on GoG

The first reboot is 8 years old

Its Lara's 25th anniversary

And still the most modern Tomb Raider game on GoG is Angel of Darkness.

Again Publisher sales like this with no new releases only remind GoG users that they're second rate citizens when it come to PC gaming and it really f-ing hurts.

Krooked_: No, no, you don't understand. The real second class citizens are the Steam users who have to wait 12 whole months for an Epic exclusive title to come to Steam. 12 months?! Do you realize how long that is? The horror!

Meanwhile we still don't have Tomb Raider (2013), Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, DOOM 2016, Skyrim, Fallout 4 and a ton of other games that should've been here ages ago.
Why those games aren't here yet?

I'm asking honestly for factual reasons.
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is not discounted. Maybe we'll have a giveaway and a patch for win 10 machines (one can only hope)?

argamasa: Dungeon Siege Collection is not on the current sale but it is on the Square Enix banner.
Even better, the sale cover lower down on the main page also shows Hitman. *facepalm*

That would be awesome!
I too keep looking forward to the six missing Tomb Raider games. Also, why not bring Lara Croft Go and Hitman Go too? Those are fun. And lastly for the sake of completion, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.
