I know that Amplitude Studios isn't yet on gog but it would be interesting to see the sequel to Endless Space that has been announced on the Gamescom to come to gog.com in the future. Not much is known about Endless Space 2 yet but its being developed through the games together platform by massive gamer feedback.

IIRC they where flat out not interested in gog around their first titel release. Hopefully that changed; voted :)
We need more 4x on GOG. Endless Space 2 would make a fine addition. That feet battle map system looks sweet. I hope it works out, because more games need that level of strategy and tactics in gameplay. Simple but effective.
They need to change that god awful/simple battle system quite a few people didnt like.

Yup. HATED endless space for that. So simple and yet.. they fucked it up, totally. Even the management system was really out of whack for some reason. It just wasn't logical. At all.
A terrible game, and they could have fixed it. But of course they didn't and released a sequel without fixing the original. I won't be supporting them.
I really liked it when Marbozir did this game. I'd probably like it if he did 2.
Looks like the kind of game that can scratch the Imperium Galactica II itch that I've had ever since playing its demo over a decade ago
Hm, Amplitude Studios was just bought by Sega today. This means we might see Amplitude games when Sega sails in to gog.com harbour. So its going to take sometime before we see Endless Space 2 here.

Looks like a cool series! Here are the wishlists for Endless Space 1 and 2!
I'd prefer Dungeon of the Endless to Endless Space, but neither has a Linux port nor are they DRM-free. With Sega buying them, that's even more likely to remain unchanged.
Heck yeah! Amplitude is having a contest for a community-created "Diplomatic Pacifist"-themed faction to be included in the game at launch. Head on over to their Games2Gether website to vote. Be sure to link your steam account to increase your vote strength.

Please consider my buddy's faction, "Champion's of a multi-race Empire". They are build around incorporating all of the minor factions (species) in the game (24 at launch). Many great sci-fi have some sort of strong peaceful republic/federation, and the Endless galaxy could use one too. Lots of great choices though, so best of luck to all!
