so i felt like playing empire earth recetnly but the game is not opening after u hit play nothing happens is the game servers are down or what

Have you tried launching from the .EXE in the installation folder directly?
You could also have a look around the dedicated subforum, and see if anyone had/has the same problem and found a solution.

Just tried from Galaxy and launched without issues for me on Windows 10.

It could have something to do with the intro cinematics. They work fine for me (although the game wildly adjusts screen resolution resolution several times). Try changing the file names of the 3 .bik files in Empire Earth Gold/Empire Earth/Data/Movies and see if the game loads.
