Did he play B.E.S.T., which was quietly swept under the rug?

(Probably should have given the name a once over.)

As to actual thoughts about the game, if I wanted a game that looked worse than Ultima, I'd be playing Akalabeth.

Story seems about as deep, at least Ultima had Mondain.

Huh. For once someone made a game with this kind of faux-old time-y graphics that seems easy on the eyes and clearly readable with some nice art, and not just a pixelated mess. I actually quite like it... but of course it has to be another goddamn roguelike. What a waste.

At least it’s not as wasteful as the electrons wasted on transmitting and storing your constant complaints about roguelikes.

I have no issue with that since Hooded Horse has good track record. Imo
