Me and the wife have just decided to replay Dying Light. Completed the Single player introduction, but while the multiplayer option is enabled we can not connect to each other.

Nor did loaded previous saves allow multiplayer.

The only change is the recent content update.

Anyone else got dying light and two computer that can test this because I can not see any reason this should be working.

I have backup for
1.12.2_(12711) (Jun 14 version)
1.12.2_(12711) (Jun 26 version)
I guess Galaxy can rollback to even older version.

I've got older versions, but I'm looking forward to the new content.

can you try 1.13.0 , the latest version with new content?

i could...but i was planning on downloading a year from now, when everything will be released. if i did download it now, it would still take me a couple of days for me to download all the parts. i will try to download, but maybe someone else who has already downloaded it can give us some info?

do you have any other lan game to verify it's not your connection? perhaps check your firewall?
Sorry for going off-topic but damn. I'm currently playing this game on PS4. I had no idea there's still that kind of support for it nor that the PC version had LAN multiplayer. Techland have really turned out to be another Polish "good guys" studio, haven't they.

LAN play used to work really well, Dying Light is a fantastic co-op game.

Well the LAN is fine, each computer can see our servers, Terraria and other games work fine. Definitely an issue with Dying Light

Hello

Just patched 2 computers to the latest inc 4 dlc (freebie from gemly included). I have no galaxy clients installed and i could perfectly join the other players game and see him. I guess it works fine :)
