I still don't get the point of this being a Dying Light DLC rather than a smaller standalone game.

I guess it uses resources and the engine from the base, so rather than repack all that just add the levels and new stuff in dlc?

Considering that its development got benched due to Dying Light's success, it's only fitting it would be absorbed by it.
