i have version 1.7 cheats dont work i press ctrl + alt + c a and write cheat bad nothings happens i have win 32 bit can you say me how exactly to write cheats ? like press ctrl +alt +c then write show space me space the space money enter or like that

I have no idea mysel but according to this thread ion game specific thread (where you should post) they work.
And yes, you should input them exactly as you wrote. Are you pressing ctrl+alt+c together instead of one after another?

Then you are probably typing the code incorrectly. Have you tried another one? Sorry, I can't help you more than this as I don't own the game. I figuerd it out, I was just pointing out your lack of punctuation, which makes your post hard to read. ;-) It's not so hard to add at least full stops and it makes your posts much more readable.

same here, once in many tries the cheat would work for me,

If your cheats doesn't work you have to change keyboard layout to ENG (English).
Ofkorz still remember to press together CTRL+ALT+C and put cheats with spaces :)

yeah I cant even seem to get a box to a pear, is it a chat box that pops up to put it in, do I just type the letters in???? I cant seem to figure out how to get it to work!

Well, with me I don't even hear the cracking sound like you're meant to so :s

Found a fix:

1. press the escape key first and go to the pause screen.
2. press control + alt + c keys together ( you should hear a *clack* ).
3. type in a code : feel the power +or+ show me the money ( for example ).
4. If you type the password correctly you will hear a second *clack*.
5. If while you are typing you hear a *clack* you most
probably made a typo or may have attempted to type an invalid code.

Okay, I give up.

Is there some magic technique with the search engine here that I'm not aware of?

I guess Xaphanous couldn't use cheats in DK2 and tried to google for a solution. Just type "dungeon keeper 2 cheats gog" and this thread will be the top search result. Probably he just wanted to add his workaround for people finding this thread with a google search ;)

The magic is that the search function shows you the results in a very confused way regarding of when the threads were created :D
New and old threads mixed together in a strange way. I often see threads from years ago as the first results.

You know, if I'd wanted serious answers to my rhetorical outburst I'd have gone over to the Steam forum. :P
