Exactly.
Drinking DRM-free coffee on a DRM-free table while playing DRM-free games after driving a DRM-free car to come back at a DRM-free house, will be luxury. Enjoy!

nightcraw1er.488: Did like the comment about using a tractor to illegally download music, can just see Old McDonald downloading The Wurzels "Combine Harvestor".

Anyway, extend the line of that thinking, embedded medical devices, prosthetic appendages etc. Soon you wont even own your own body.
They're already doing this with GM Crops, and they've tried to apply it to DNA as well.

So, in theory, you could take every living thing in the universe to court of mis-use of DNA(tm). Mars attacks is going to be a very different film in the future - "Mars arrives and gets slapped with a hefty lawsuit over DNA manipulation without copyright owners permission". Catchy!
A reminder for lovers of Steam, digital downloads and cloud services: this is your digital-only, Internet-dependant shitty shitty future.

I'd P2P a fucking torrent tractor, instead :-P
It isn't just tractors.

This extends to the world of as well (not to mention [url=https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20150422/23110430764/dvd-makers-say-that-you-dont-really-own-dvds-you-bought-thanks-to-copyright.shtml]DVD's).
Copy protected proprietary software in cars has been a thing for quite a while, having it spread to farming equipment is supposedly fairly new though.

And a Vampire Hunter!
Jeremy Clarkson made a joke about Apple making a car.
Long story short he laughed at Apple customer support ("You're holding it wrong"), and mocked iTunes app store -specifically forgetting his password and being locked out until he reset his password after remembering where he was born and his mother's maiden name.
