my download speed is crawling at o.2 Mbps which is driving me insane.
i browse around the forum and found out firewall may be the problem, i turn it off, allow the client app to pass
still 0.2 Mbps.....

anyone have any idea how to increase the speed? at this rate my TW3 reinstalllation is gonna take at least 5 days or something since i can't turn it on all the time

What's your advertised speed?

What method are you using to download the games: browser, Galaxy, or Downloader?

Have you tried one of the other methods listed above?

I'm having the same problem since today, but I'm downloading from offline downloader (http store)


edit: please note, I don't have this problem in any other site (including that "other" one from elsewhere).

my advertised speed is 30Mbps

To download via browser just go to your library (Games), click on the game and choose "Download Offline Backup Game Installers" (it's below the big blue "Download and Install Now" button).

tried the downloader, same speed to 200kbps which translates to 0.2 Mbps

It seems to be solved for me, back to my max speed of 100mbps (12mBps)

well, I spoke too soon, some files are downloaded at regular speed, but others still get 200kBps cap... it seems some server problem, and some files must be stored in a faulty server.

Could be a hop on the route too. I had a similar problem at one time where one of the hops owned by Comcast on the US East coast was my bottleneck.

so sir...i contacted the support and is put on queu, any resolve i can get for this? maybe an answer for why?
