Hello Dear GOG friends,

Before starting i just want to disclose that i am relatively new to Linux and Ubuntu in particular. With that in mind i will ask for your help :P

So i was successful in running the newly released doom 3 bfg with wine, using playonlynux wine version 2.15. All three games are running very smoothly and without any performance issues or whatsoever. However, there is one big problem witch i was not able to solve and that is the sound in doom 3. It is just missing :(. There are no sounds or music in the doom 3 menu, as well as while playing. I tried looking around the net for a solution, but nothing helped.

I tried the BFG source port as well, but due to the lack of knowledge, i managed to run it as well only under wine, and not natively on linux. The sound is missing with the source port too.

I will be very thankful for any assistance provided. :)
