I had to look up that term, didn't hear it before and at first after reading your text thought, that it means to examine/interrogate one's ex by sending another friend.
It somewhat reads like your ex did send that person although that wouldn't make much sense.
I actually don't know if it is common here? I would guess so considering when I learned about it it seemed like a common phenomenon, I just never socialize or meet people anymore, so it was new to me! Like, I don't want to know them if they are this sort of person anyway, wish they would have been upfront about their shadeyness (haha)

Congrats Drealmer7, maybe it is better to have adventure game than such girlfriend. It is possible that she has had no intentions to ghost you, but her life is probably mess and you don't need that in your own life. Oddeus thanks for the giveaway!

tinyE: Was the for real before KOTOR 2 or did they come up with that for the game? I know it wasn't in any of the movies, at least I'm pretty sure it wasn't, but I guess they might have snagged it from some fan fiction or something.
Afaik, it is the reverse of the existing Jedi code, it was written specifically KotOR and later adopted for the other media.
I didn't like very much KotOR, but the Code of Sith is a cool idea.
