flatiron: I didn't think anyone would be foolish enough to click on it if they didn't understand how to deal with viruses. People are too damn crazy these days for me to understand.

I put up a warning though.

zeogold: Adding a warning doesn't make it better, dude. That's like saying "Hey, I dumped this pile of radioactive waste here on the ground, I want to test how harmful it is. Just don't step in it, you'll be fine!" Yeah, nobody should step in it, but you're still the person who dumped it there and it was your fault for doing so rather than using the far wiser option, which was not putting it there at all and asking for testing equipment. Heck, you still even had the opportunity to edit your post and remove the link, but no, you didn't even do that. If this was a PM or whatever, ok, that might make some sense, but out to the public? If this WAS a virus or scam link, you'd effectively be achieving the original scammer's purpose for them, for free.
You know what, fuck 'em! I don't give a shit! How the fuck else am I supposed to ask without posting the fucking link?

Doesn't even matter anyway. It comes up clean or question mark.

Why would someone make such a site though? And does virus total test for linux malware?

flatiron: ?
Virustotal just runs the site or file under a variety of web scanners and spits out a report, if they test for linux malware then they test for it.
this site is safe you really think publishers would want there games on a scam site, no they wouldnt, there are alot of well known games here from well known developers. GOG DOES NOT contain viruses and it is not a scam, i have purchased games here and they have ran perfectly fine.
