I have been having trouble with the disc of this game, it will get to 92% and then just crash I need to know if the game will work on here or if i am just out of luck. Also on a side note other games will do similar things like this, such as Star Wars knights of the old republic.

GOG says that it does and they don't advertise compatibility lightly.

Works on: Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8)

GOG guarantees that the following games should run on Windows 8. Assuming that you meet the listed requirements and the game still doesn't run, you can contact support to help you troubleshoot it.
