I'm not gay, and I used to make fun of gays, much to my shame. But hey, I was living in stupidity and ignorance back then.

Since then I have reasoned things through with Logic.

Mother Nature makes many variants, and I see Gay folk etc as just a lesser norm ... lesser as in numbers. Have a think about why Mother Nature might do that.

Hell, even if they are just mistakes by Mother Nature, that's how they are and they certainly don't deserve persecution.

Hey, while we're here, why not have a little fun? I'll say this, the gays aren't even (necessarily) a mistake by Mother Nature, but they could actually useful to survival. They don't need to be homosexuals necessarily, but just individuals who have no interest in procreation (i.e. they aren't competing for the best mates), but are still willing to remain within the community and protect the decedents of those with genetic material sufficiently similar to their own. Like those odd yet faithful uncles who don't have kids. If they are 'just gay', rather than completely genetically devoid, they'll be able to be helpful and still be intelligent and strong!

Actually, you see this on zoo shows in regards to birds. Gay bird couples are often surrogates when the biological parents are not able to take care of their own eggs. Some birds are not good at nesting and should never be given the opportunity to incubate their own eggs and other times one of the biological parents needs to spend time in the zoo infirmary thus won't be able to help incubate. The gay bird couple that surrogates insures that the babies are still raised by birds.
