So I deleted my save file by mistake, and had cloud-saving deactivated despite being a Galaxy user. So I lost my progress. I know... The thing is, I was right at the end of the game in question (Syberia 3).

I was wondering whether this kind of thing is usually solved by being given a save file, or if I will just have to live with it.

Cheers!

With cloud-saves disabled I'm pretty sure they can't help you. Maybe if you use a file recover software?
Going to have to live with it, unless you can undelete the file. Or perhaps get to Google and see if there's a save file floating around, but I wouldn't do that without several layers of protection against malware.
I was going to suggest asking in the Syberia subforum if someone has a save file they could send you, but I see you've already done so. Hopefully someone can help you out. That's likely the best solution.
thanks everyone! I simply watched the end on youtube. Not worth worrying about such a disappointing game anyway
