Yes, it's usually 30%, but big publishers might get a discount.

Yes, GOG does it not for free. The percentage is probably up to negotiation but don't expect them to be much cheaper than others. Also they might refuse carrying your game.

The industry standard seems to be 30%, and I believe that's true both at Steam and GOG and elsewhere for the big shops at least. Some specialty boutiques or other shops might take more or less, especially if they specialize in being one of the places that accepts games rejected by Steam, GOG and other big shops. They potentially take bigger risks that they bigger guys didn't want to so taking a bigger cut pads that. Especially true when you consider Steam more or less publishes anything these days without question. ;oP

Whether bigger shops get a better rate or not I doubt, and I've never heard nor seen any evidence of that anywhere. I doubt anyone that knows concretely would share the information since it'd probably be limited to a small few people at GOG and a small few people at some big company.
