There was a series of video games about a troll named Hugo where you could lead him through various dangerous circumstances

There is a game called Hugo trilogy on GOG but i don't think it's that game looking at the screenshots

I remember when my cousin gave me a copy of one of these games and my dumbass broke it in half while unboxing. I have had remorse about it ever since. That's why i am thankful sites like GOG and Steam exist. Imagine unboxing Cyberpunk 2077 you paid all your savings for... and you break it in half

I actually still have discs with these games... One day, i will try to install them on the 14-year old laptop my mother uses, maybe they will run there

I've never played the game on PC, Amiga or PS, but I do remember the German version of the game show on TV that this is apparently based on.

Nope. Never owned a PS2, though i did have a PS1 and PS3. I clearly remember borrowing a game featuring that troll from my cousin and breaking it in half


BTW there is actually a mobile game on google app called Hugo Troll Race 2: the daring rail rush. Nice to see the franchise alive

Somehow i imagined it was a different Hugo game. But seeing 'troll' i am guessing i assumed wrong.

I do remember playing this game on PC, during the 90s. There were a few stages (2-3?) where you went up a mountain to rescue your kidnapped family.

I also remember watching the TV show but I'm not sure if the levels were the same.
