I us a playstation controller with a usb adapter, and when I connect it to the pc it recognizes the gamepad and all buttons and both analogs, but not that the gamepad has a vibration function. It's really annoying, especially when all I've found to fix it was to install a driver that windows should pick when I connect the gamepad. But after I installed it, windows still picks it's general joystick driver, that doesn't have vibration function.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Thank you for any help you can give me.

This is for W7, but should also apply to W8

I hate to break it to you but installing the proper driver is the only way to fix this.
