It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

MichaelD.965: Holy hickey-holes, Hatman; I literally fill up my watch-later list faster than I can watch it some days. I'm currently 2 weeks behind with over 570 videos.
570? Those are rookie numbers.

Tistonic: I just remember the names of the channels i watch, someone mention they bookmark them, so that would be a easier option.

Getting recommended for things you've already found channels for, isn't great, many things i just don't know what to type in to find interesting/fun channels/videos
Browser bookmarking is good, but I also gave you a handy list of channels to consider. For the record, abridgers are amateur voice-actors who use source footage in their parody videos. The best Abridged series include Dragon Ball Z, Yu-Gi-Oh, Gantz, and Sword Art Online.

Tistonic: Youtube in the english version?

Yeah, I would welcome a real challenge to the YT hegemony. I used to be a pretty big fan of some of the Channel Awesome/That Guy with the Glasses video reviewers back in the day, and it's kind of funny in a very sad way how the whole thing, the "creators network" with its own website basically only came to be so that they could exist outside of Youtube, and then Blip (their not-YT where they put their videos) went down five years ago and they all ended up being "youtubers" after all ever since. Resistance was futile.

They should have formed an union :P
Never watched youtube on the same system where I logged in on Google account, unless is a very specific video.
I don't watch trending videos even if the title sound appealing, ever. If there is something I may be curious about on the recomendation list, just open another browser and watch it there.

I copy/paste the same Firefox profile from system to system (mainly because I'm lazy), so the cookies seem to work just fine as I get the same channels recomended, even without being logged on Google's account.
In the end, I try to keep my recomendation list as clean as possible, without being logged in.
Never cared for YouTube recommendations or trending videos, I found the channels I've subscribed to while searching for very specific things.

Darvond: Addendum: I'm subscribed to a variety of channels, such as World of Longplays, Vinesauce, TieTuesday, Threadbareinc, Thevoiceofdog, TheStrawhatno, Therunawayguys, The8bitguy, SNESdrunk, Smight, Slowbeef, Retro Game Mechanics Explained, Psychedelic Eyeball, Proton Jon, Pixelmusement, LGR, Kikoskia, and many others.
I love the 8Bit Guy. :)
I've also enjoyed some of Kikoskia's let's play videos, but I'm not subscribed since I was only interested in a few particular games.

but why?
Seems they come up with some decent suggestions. I had 350 unwatched vids in Feb, cleared that and usually around 30 these days. Some amazing stuff if you know where to look in terms of language, sign language, game lore and lingerie catwalks....
