They have made themselves more attractive to younger PC users for a month or so when Galaxy was released and promised to be the unifying client for all games. That hype seems to have died down, but I might be wrong. I would be curious to see how many new users GOG is getting onto Galaxy, I doubt it's that many with the lack of marketing.
As for older PC users...
Man, all I want is to just start a game without having to go through a client man. I want my 'game library' to be my storage drive. DRM-free is just the cherry on top of that, but heck I was fine with serial keys...
What I am trying to say is, they've gotten a lot less attractive to us older PC users who don't want to use their browser to download games but would instead just love to use something like the GOG Downloader again. Now I am double-clicking a game icon on my desktop and freaking GOG Galaxy just opens fullscreen and shows me all this garbage I don't care about like game time, friends lists. achievements and stuff.
I am thinking I am going to have to download these sometimes 10+ GB setups through my browser... Ugh.
