I've been playing Wasteland lately, and I've noticed that sometimes the game rewards you for being evil and just slaughtering everyone in the area; sometimes, in fact, everyone will turn against you under certain circumstances.

Also, there's a town where you can end up killing all the children; if you do that, you'll have to fight a boss, and once you kill the boss, the town turns into a ghost town; even the water dries up. (The messages the game uses here actually remind me of Undertale's Genocide route, except that Wasteland came decades before Undertale.)

It's interesting seeing how many modern games go out of their way to prevent the player from killing children (to the point where Skyrin has a special rule to prevent it that's separate from the Essential flag), but yet in Wasteland it's expected that you do so. (With that said, as least Wasteland doesn't *require* killing children.)
VTMB is a good game to do an evil low humanity run. The first time I played it I did an evil run as a Tremere and opened the box.
I very rarely play as an evil character, generally the only time I do it's when I can screw up the plans of other villains. That being said it's fun to use the traditionally "evil" powers that are in video games. Examples being blood magic in Dragon Age or Force lightning in KOTOR. And yes, VTMB is an excellent game all around for playing with those type of abilities, playing as a Malkavian for my first run made that roleplaying experience ever so fun.

Probably the best "villain" experience I ever played was the Neverwinter Nights Hall of Fame Mod "A Hunt Through the Dark", where you get to play as a Drow in the Underdark. Though my nostalgia glasses may be on for those memories. In any case, does anyone else remember that one?

I'm acting as a very autocratic leader in shadow empire at the moment, with the last uprising i decided to send in the forces leading to 20000 killed inhabitants and a couple of soldiers but the unrest was quelled, furthermore i have friendly relations with a slave trading nation but i did not give in to their demands that time when a tradercaravan they found as their prey offered 600 coins to be let pass our borders. There was a similar accident before with a group of about 1500 inhabitants 0f that slave trading nation who i refused access to our borders who where slaughtered in sight and hang on crosses just in front of the border passing.

With our forefathers having research as the main press that helped them through the devastation of the apocalyptic years we handle the same approach. This leads to a fast developing society where every citizen is proud to be a part off. The democratic and mesocratic sentiments in society are only there to provide the necessary lubricant to oil the cogs for a smooth process. Government salaries are above the private sector norm, but make no mistake. The next uprising will be quelled again with force instead of words and some money.

Not sure if i can call this policy truly evil... from galciv eyes i guess it would be a mixture of practicality and evility stances so there you have it......

Maybe i would hit neutral evil in DnD but it might as well be neutral neutral for that matter... not sure
