I'd have preferred winning it myself, but still neat to see a worthwhile game get given away like this. Congrats. :)

Argh, if I had just entered a few minutes earlier...
But that's typical for my luck in lotteries. Congrats Point_Man, enjoy the game.

low rated

I mean, you are free to do whatever since it's your code (I'm also not personally interested in it as I haven't even played the first one) but I just wanted to point it out since it didn't seem that "fair".

+1 for the GA and congrats to the winner!
Never saw it when it was open but wouldn't have been in anyway since
a) I still haven't played the first, and
b) my computer almost certainly couldn't run it anyway :)

What do you mean with "entries"? Posts, threads? I said that if it's limited to 8 hours, in that time alone you could be sleeping, working or doing both without the possibility to ever see this giveaway before it's over.

Sometimes I let my giveaways run for several days. Sometimes I run them through the morning where I live, sometimes through the evening giving different groups of people a chance to win. I do it because it feels good to make someones day.
My mind just boggles at being criticised for an act of generosity.
