tinyE: They didn't shut it down, they just cryogenically froze it.

Smannesman: Do you mean cryonically?
HEY! I may not be very smart, but I'm stupid!

You better watch your step! :D

pimpmonkey2382.313: I haven't even heard of Infinity.

paladin181: It was the Disney answer to Skylanders. Honestly, I'm shocked there was never a proper Pokemon game with actual dolls like Infinity or Skylanders. It actually seems almost like it was designed for it. Also weird considering Nintendo DID jump on board with the Amiibo things.
This makes a lot of sense I wonder why they didn't jump on that or maybe they were thinking of something else/
I received the Disney Infinity email as well. Such a strange move and not sure why they are leaving the Steam version gimped.
You don't say...

Well, Disney's approach to video games has been bizarre for me for some time. They are happy to milk every franchise they can for all it's worth (they're making a live action Winnie the Pooh movie for god's sake), and yet they seem so utterly unable to capitalise on those franchise on the video game market (which is probably bigger now than ever) that they gave up on making video games all together. And yet, even after that decision, you'd expect them to at least license out all those franchises left and right, but no. There's still no more games based on Disney properties, whether it's Duck Tales, Pirates of the Carribean, The Muppets or any of their famous animated movies. Even the Marvel and Star Wars brands are almost dead in terms of video games.
so the infinity is finite ;)

Wanted to say exactly the same. But for what it's worth: Disney should just license the stuff out for a percentage of the sales and be done with it.

Sure, I mean, you can count past infinity, so it must be finite, right?

To Infinity and Below!
