Just got an email promotion that says Dishonored complete collection is at an 80% discount, great!

So at 80% discount the collection costs A$22

But at the same time the cost of each games also at 80% discount:

Dishonored - Definitive Edition: A$4.99
Dishonored®: Death of the Outsider: A$7.99
Dishonored 2: A$7.99

They sums up to A$20.97, compared to A$22 for the collection.

Aren't bundles usually cheaper? Does the bundle include DLC or something that I missed?

This appears to be just an effect of badly set up regional pricing in Australia (and possibly other regions) - where the package was also more expensive than the individual games before the discount.

For me, the prices are €14 vs €6+€6+€4=€16. According to gogdb, the same goes for dollar prices.

gogtrial34987 is correct. It is dodgy regional pricing.

One correction though: the regionless bundle cost is actually 15.99USD.

You can confirm this by selecting "gift this order" in the checkout, which will convert it to regionless (ie US) pricing. Once this is done, the bundle is more expensive by 2c. (USD or AUD, the 2c difference is the same)

The few cent discrepancy often happens due to GOG's preference to round everything to end in a 9. Unhappily, they round up more often than down.



There is nothing extra in the bundle by the way. If you want the games, buy them individually. Dishonored - Definitive Edition is at a historical low for GOG by the way.

Wouldn't be the first time, this is often the case on GOG, especially during sales.

Deluxe Editions also often cost more than the game + DLCs to upgrade to the same content.

In one case I told the dev/publisher and as a response he raised the price for the base game ...
