I recently switch to a Linux OS and found that through Lutris i can get Diablo + Hellfire. i re-downloaded it and it loads nicely but for some reason it loads Hellfire not Diablo. Yes i know they are the same game. I'm just using the names as such for simplifications. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

1) I went to the Lutris website even and tried the "wine: All PC + TH2 mod version" that didnt work so i deleted it.

2) tried the "wine: GOG version" that didnt work

I don't use Lutris, so I can't help. I would, however, recommend using the "GOG + DevilutionX version", just because it doesn't require wine, and it has some improvements over the base game. Once installed, it will launch diablo or hellfire depending on the presence of hellfire.mpq (or, in 1.3 or later, which Lutris uses, --diablo or --hellfire to force it to one or the other). I have no idea how to set command-line options with Lutris.

Also: use the subforum.
