gibbeynator: Well, Presto has been looking for a way to get the Journeyman Project games on Steam. It's probably that.
Wait what, Valve wouldn't let the JP games on Steam?! With all the shovelware crap and broken games that get sold on it these days they wouldn't let some actually good adventures on their service?

Aaand Night Dive has a load of 'Humongus Entertainment' stuff on steam, no GOG release.

*awaits the sand-kicking in this thread*

...
I hope that GOG will follow, maybe now it's easier to have them here as well. Yeah, let's hope so.
And my boycott stands.

Edit: Before anyone freaks out, all the Humongous Entertainment stuff is compatible with ScummVM. So it probably IS DRM-free.

Who knows, Valve is really weird with how they handle releases on Steam. For example they refused Paranautical Activity from initially getting on their service when they were going to be published by Adult Swim because Valve stated "they didn't want devs thinking they can bypass Greenlight by getting a publisher" but still allowing devs to do just that. Not to mention all the cases of them turning down games again and again only to change their mind after a set amount of time like Space, Pirates and Zombies which was turned down consistently for a year then out of nowhere they were accepted.

Now I'm not trying to start a Steam bash here, I'm just saying that Valve when it comes to how releases work on Steam are odd and often nonsensical.
Oh. My. God. I know nothing's coming of this yet, but oh. my. god.

Someone started a dedicated thread: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/no_one_lives_forever_trademarks_filed_by_night_dive_studios
I know, I saw that after I posted that. I was just thinking maybe we could put that into the Night Dive thread too since it IS related after all.
Well, this just happened:

Here's what Wikipedia says:

"Got Game Entertainment re-released the game in December 2004 as Bad Mojo Redux. All in-game videos were remastered from original footage. Redux runs in truecolor only, opposed to the 1996 release which required only 256-color mode. This change makes the videos clearer and more colorful. The re-release also came with a bonus DVD, which contained a making-of, art galleries and other bonuses. This DVD was omitted from the UK release."
