I was browsing the mac section lately hoping to find some cool new additions and while certainly there are a few I was disappointed to learn that the Deus Ex Game of the Year Edition had been uploaded for windows but not for mac?

This is one of my favorite games of all time and I'd love to play it via GOG.
I was hoping there'd be a Mac thread for requests but it doesn't look like there's been one in some time.

From what I can tell, the Mac version of Deus Ex was published and supported by Aspyr (and they probably helped prepare that version, as Mac ports are their specialty). GOG doesn't have any Mac ports made by Aspyr, and as far as I know, the only games published here by Aspyr are a couple of games by a single small development group (Bloober Team).
More importantly, the Mac version of DE was apparently not well-supported after its release, and the only PC version of the game that's sold digitally, the Game of the Year Edition, didn't have a Mac version at all.

I have a Mac too. It would be nice that GOG Team or someone else would make a newer version of that old Mac version (not the Game of the Year Edition) and make a digital distribution of this game. I think every Mac gamer would buy it! :)
