Tarnicus: I've finally downloaded the majority of my Desura collection, barring a few larger downloads. I will say that after using the Desura client (I found the direct download method to be frustrating due to inconsistent file naming and couldn't be arsed renaming 400+ downloads) it makes Galaxy look like a decent client, which it isn't. Fortunately I found a fix for my most common error (MCF install errors) which was to turn off proxy through the client. I don't understand why it was on by default, nor how it could impact on installation but it did well and truly for me. The other major issue with the Desura client is that it consistently forgets installed games. People constantly bitch about Steam but that client works exactly as a client should. Until my game collection exceeded mortal capacity to play in one lifetime, I didn't consider a client necessary or convenient.

Music of choice whilst doing this is Vinter in Hollywood aka Savant/Aleksander Vinter (playlist here)

Indie Gala

(the most frustrating fucking site when it comes to Desura keys as it doesn't record when keys have been used!! Some will have been used by myself and buggered if I know which - I am testing every key now, so that is removing those gifted to others, I just won't know if a key has been used by myself as the same games appear in multiple bundles. That means if more than one key is listed, all but one should bloody work! :P If a key shows as being used by another, then it has been grabbed after this list has been posted as I have checked every single key.)
