"The collection is called The Infocom Cabinet, and right now it has every design notebook/binder that Steve Meretzky kept during the period of what most people consider “Classic” Infocom. This includes binders for:

Planetfall (1983) (Part 1, Part 2)
Sorcerer (1984)
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (1984)
A Mind Forever Voyaging (1985)
Leather Goddesses of Phobos (1986)
Stationfall (1987)
Zork Zero: The Revenge of Megaboz (1988)

Right there are nearly 4,000 pages of material to go through related to the production of these games."
Wow what an amazing find! I'll definitely be taking some time to look through these. Thank you for sharing.

GOG should see about adding some of them as extras for Zork anthology
Amazing stuff. Thanks a lot for the heads up.
Monster wheel terrorizes Cleveland.

(edit, since people asked: the monster wheel is on page 36 of Sorcerer.)

My bad, should have done forum search. ;)
Deserves its own thread anyways.

+1 to each of you (Gonchi & Starmaker) for bringing it to our attention :)

Unless I'm seeing it wrong, it looks like you have to select items individually. If that's the case, hopefully one day they'll make the collection available as a packaged download.
This is indeed awesome to see. Kudos.

They also need to get the rest of the games on the site. I understand Activision created a pretty nice re-release of the Lost Treasures of Infocom for smart phones, so it's not like they've forgotten about these, but I guess they just don't like GOG?
Thanks for the links! I looked over Steve Meretzky's design binder of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and it was pretty awesome to see the stuff the game was born from. Also, it was nostalgic and somewhat sad when it got to the personal invitations to Douglas Adams' funeral service that Steve had kept in there near the end.

Damn, it's for iOS only. I need an iPad!
