Ancient-Red-Dragon: That's terrible. GOG should make an option so that all customers can easily permanently delete demos off of their account with one click.

Until then, it seems best to avoid demos on GOG since they can't be deleted off of your account.
And the problem with that is...?

You know you can just hide stuff in your library, right?

joppo: There have been demos that present levels that were excluded from the main game, (…)

Unfortunately I don't remember any specific case off the top of my head.
I remember at least Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive and StarCraft that featured exclusive levels in the demo.
For Desperados, the demo level has since then been included in the game remaster.

I agree in concept, but in reality, even demos get updated, and you get update notifications (when gog feels like it) on hidden games. Nonetheless, I see this as a silly reason to not ever get demos on gog.

I knew that someone with a better memory than mine would show up. Thanks. :)

Jedi Knight 2 had a really fun extra level as demo. Must have played it a hundred times.

Warcraft 3 demo is a mini campaign with two mission the same as prologue in the full game, and three extra missions detailing the orcs' journey to Kalimdor.
