We’d like to inform you that, due to publisher's request, The Westport Independent will be delisted from our catalog on Sunday, January 8th, 3 PM UTC.

You can purchase the game with a 75% discount.

For everyone who purchased the title prior to delisting, it will remain in their GOG library.
Shame, any reason why (that you can give us)?

I am only guessing, but maybe it's somehow related to the fact that the game is completely free on Steam, but 3.99 (regular price) on GOG?
Sale is set to end in one month from now, according to the promo page, but it'll probably go only until the delisting date.
Seem to be a lot of delistings lately.

And been freeware for quite a while too. See the archived snapshots of the site, already listed as free on Nov 9 2021 (Previous snapshot, with purchase links, Sep 24 2021.) But purchase links for Steam, GOG, Humble, Amazon, Appstore and Google Play, freeware links for Steam, Itch, Appstore and Google Play.
Thank you for the warning
Reminds me that I should play this game sometime.
Not sure why it couldn't have been made free here, unless GOG doesn't want to worry about supporting an unpopular title.

The game is almost 7 years old and only has 2 pages of reviews and 3/5 rating. May not be making any sales anymore here.

In the german forum is an overview of the most delistings:

Strange to delist instead of making it free, but I guess it's simpler for the dev.

Aye, it's free on Steam since January 20 2020. Sometimes these delistings are rather peculiar.
