Just a heads up: Raiden IV is getting delisted over on Steam in less than a week, likely due to an expiry of publishing rights. The gog version might be affected as well sooner or later. Whether it's a long/permanent removal or a simple publishing transfer with little to no downtime is anyone's guess right now.

Thanks for the heads up. There's also a dedicated thread for these kind of things here, and I see it's already been flagged there as well ;).
That's unfortunate.. but maybe it will return eventually in another form? It was released in a new version with a remixed soundtrack on Switch a year ago.
Do those sort of games have fullscreen vertical modes for people that can turn their widescreen monitors on their side?

Many of them do have fullscreen vertical mode, including Raiden IV.

Since we have an official sticky thread now, I'll bump this one for all the people who overlook the stickies, so everyone should be covered now.

Aye, Raiden IV does have tate mode, where you enable it and physically rotate the screen 90° clockwise (easily done with vesa mounts). Bonus of gog version is ofc the drm-free build, since steam version is always-online (iirc it has CEG drm) - it wouldn't launch without steam running in online mode.
