gogtrial34987: Gone now.
Thanks for letting us know.

So the store now shows that I own all 29 DLC but no base game at all.

Does anyone know (if this has happened with other games) what happens if there are further updates to the game?

Will we still receive updates to our 'legacy' version given that it technically no longer exists on the store - and the entry in my library doesn't match what's sold anymore - even though it's an identical game as I own all available DLC?

Given how often this game has received updates, including a couple recently, this is a bit of a concern!

It does still exist in GOG's database - it's just not for sale on the store. Moreover, it's included in the Definitive Edition (which is a "PACK" consisting of the Enhanced Edition "GAME" and 21 "DLC"s). So yes, it should still get updates, because that's the way the Definitive Edition will get its updates, too.

GOG certainly could make processes and technical hierarchies like this a bit more transparent, and/or communicate better about it, but in general, I don't think you have to worry about GOG doing the right thing for their customers.

Oriza-Triznyák: What is the reason of the delist ?
avatar
gogtrial34987: I suspect that the publisher believes the current average rating for Dying Light: Enhanced Edition is too high (4.1 over 751 ratings), so they want to hide it in favor of a version of the game which corrects this (3.4 over 129 ratings for the Definitive Edition).</tongue-in-cheek>
I love it, the logic is just perfect!

Yep I noticed that Game.ID 1448452156 is part of Package.ID 1632701911 so that makes sense. So hopefully that's how it works out. Thanks for replying.

Yep the game has constantly gotten updates, rarely a month or so goes by when it doesn't according to my memory. Maybe that will mostly stop now.

If we are not getting anymore DLC then there may be very little reason to keep updating the game ... aside from GOG doing their Preservation thing.
Doesn't affect German customers, since GOG region-blocks Dying Light anyhow.
