We’d like to inform you that, due to the publisher's distribution policy changes, Dead In Vinland and following DLCs: Dead In Vinland - The Vallhund, Dead In Vinland - Endless Mode: Battle Of The Heodenings, and Dead In Vinland - Norse Side Stories will be delisted from our catalog on Sunday, May 21st, 11 PM UTC.

For everyone who purchased any of the titles prior to delisting, they will remain in their GOG library.

I think it's a great survival game.
I hope it's just some sort of bureaucratic deal and that it'll be back on store soon.
Into the cart it goes...
One that was i n my wishlist to check out some time, but never trickled up to the top. Looked neat, just never got to it. Hopefully it'll return. It's reasonably reviewed.

Hopefully this is just because the developer switched publishers and it will be back soon with Dead in Bermuda tagging along.
grabbing DLC now
It's always sad to see a game getting delisted (well, in the most cases at least) and
thanks for the info in advance!

But why does it always has to be on such a really short notice?

While not ideal, it used to be worse, with some times the delisting being announced mere hours before it happens.
Heh, had this one wishlisted for quite a while, but then removed it. Which at least means I gave it a fair bit of thought, since I add plenty of other titles and then pretty much put them out of mind.
Wonder if "distribution policy changes" means "we want to just stick to Steam" or "we want DRM"... Though if it's just for this game, maybe not, since they have plenty of others on here. Or should we worry about all those too?

developers are russians and their name is USSR in russian (CCCP). probably they started to get into trouble for promoting communism or it is policy change regarding russians. who knows. who cares, good riddance.

they probably want to rebrand from USSR symbols they widely used in their logo and game intro. I recall playing the first game (Bermuda) they definitely showcased themselves as soviet lovers in intro. hard to believe someone but russians will worship soviets in this age, but well :)
I hope this gane makes a comeback, want to get the missing DLC, but not at full price. :/

I don't think we'll have to worry. They recently annouced Nocturnal on gog, would be a weird move to announce a new game just to pull all their titles a week later.

I got the base game for free, so all remained was the DLC for me. Too bad there is no discount, but I'd rather get the content now than not being able to access it later.

Full price or maybe never? Tough choice.
