Users actually. We did mess the releases (again).
I find this really fun. But still, as a web developer myself, I hope nobody is shouting at whoever didn't delete this too loud. And probably the one who wrote it and didn't didn't double-check deletion, but hey, this is so much easier to say after the fact.

I like it - it's funny, and it's another thing that shows that the people working on gog are...ordinary people, not some elitist, elusive 'pricks' like in the case of Steam.

I.E. it is one of the things that makes gog a more 'human' site, not some kind of ivory tower.

It's like an easter egg.
Blooper of the year so far ;)

Yes, this is caused by a quick attempt to circumvent the forum bug whereby if you guess the release ahead of time you can "squat" on our newspost.

The server gnomes responsible have been fed to the kobolds.

Well the good thing is that it lasted for like 2 minutes and people got a laugh out of it

Yeah, no harm done, really. But you can see why we don't generally tell you guys what the release is ahead of time. :P

Have you guys considered adding a random character string into the new game URLs, so it isn't just "/release_[gamename]"?
