So, yeah ... is there a way to delete the saves my Galaxy client pushed into "the cloud" or at least to tell it to use my local folder as the "correct" one when there are differences?
In my case, I have a couple saves from DA:O that are just the character info because I was testing stuff and never reached a point where the game or I made a save (so they don't show up in-game, either). So I delete those locally, but the next time I start the game, Galaxy downloads it all over again.
Right now, I have cloud saves deactivated for the game, but that's kinda like trashing your car because you have a flat tire. Would be nice if I could just delete the stuff that's on the servers and start fresh - or at least get asked which one *I* want to keep, like other clients do in cases like that.

Run the game, delete the saves (preferably from in game), close the game, let it sync.

As I said, there's no save points, only character data, so they don't show up in-game. But deleting them while the game was running worked.
Still, being asked what to do when the client runs into differences between files would be nice.

I've tried this so many times with The Witcher 3... I'll take the time to delete like 150 saves through the in-game system, quit the game, it syncs, but then if I ever re-install the game, it will pull down all 150 saves again and whatever ones I kept... really wish there were a nuclear option with like 3 steps of confirmation to purge all cloud saves and refresh
This is NOT solved. Deleting local games that have been synced with the server is NOT a solution when the desired behavior is for the system to save local data only, and to remove saves incorrectly synced to the cloud.

Syncing data to cloud is the default setting on Galaxy 2.0. Leaving aside other use cases, there are going to be many people who *don't want save data synced to cloud, period*, and who won't notice this right away. They need a straightforward option to delete files saved to cloud backup before catching this and turning the option off. Full stop.
I bought flashback remastered and want to delete a profile. There appears to be no option to delete the profile in game. Every time I turn sync on and off it has no effect. How do I delete cloud saves in this case?
Never let genuine personal data get onto the cloud.

Once your data is in the cloud, it's no longer under your control. Whatever privacy statements you have read or boxes you ticked, it's out of the bag and can never be put back in. And deleting is not the same as erasing. Deleted data is still there, it's just marked as deleted. All that changed was a status bit.

Just ask those celebrities who have private sexual images and videos up on porn sites, hacked from the cloud. What good was the privacy agreement to them? Exactly as good as it is to you. ZERO.

They are in business to serve themselves, not you. Don't believe the hype.
