Sometimes it gives default "Standard edition" instead of "game of the year edition" I think if you searched for the game instead of finding it in advertising. Considering both cost the same but standard wouldn't give you Hearts of Stone or Blood & Wine expansions, you suppose GoG would upgrade someones order if they bought the wrong one thanks to this default?

It's a issue to be aware of if you're buying this game.
proof you should always be aware of what you're buying. its also GOGs flagship game, they should fix this asap..

myconv: Considering both cost the same
Except they don't? At least in my region.

If they don't download the game installer, they would get a refund. Otherwise, maybe, if they ask very nicely.

I feel you should slow down and read when doing anything involving finances?

They do not cost the same for me. SE 15€, GOTY 20€.
Nothing to "fix" here.
The base game (or Standard Edition) is sold separately

1. in case you just want the bog standard base game without the expansions
2. in case you want to throw more money CDPR's way by purchasing the base game (Standard Edition) and the expansions (or the expansion pass) separately

Read carefully before actually purchasing anything. I really don't see the problem.
Would it be possible to combine all of the OP's current threads along with any more that I'm sure are to come?
Maybe you are entering to the wrong link.
