I have a Dave Banking card and an Albert card. Dave banking has twenty dollars on it. Albert has thirty dollars on it. I am trying to make a six dollar purchase. Tried getting support from both Albert and Dave, and support is basically not offered.

GOG apparently forces you to suffer through their stupid chatbot or post on forum, neither of which I like. Life is too short to deal with either, but here I am. Sorry if it offends you, but I have social anxiety disorder and would just like to talk to someone who actually provides customer support for a living.

So has anybody successfully bought anything off of this site using either of the cards, and why would they be rejected?

Listen, I don't know where you're getting off trying to use a Dave & Busters card, but that doesn't really mean much a hermatiage anyway. Which lil logo is down in the corner? VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, or one of the weird third parties?

I'm guessing that your bank blocked the purchase since the invoice is billed from Cyprus or somewhere in that vicinity. Go ask them, or perhaps take your banking to a Credit Union backed by the FDIC.

Those sound like prepaid cards. Many prepaid cards don't support international transactions (GOG is a Polish company and their payment processor Adyen is Dutch).

Right from the start, tell the chatbot "other". It should then ask what type of problem you have; click "Other" from the choices offered. It should then prompt you for details to create a support ticket. If all else fails, try directly e-mailing support (at) gog (dot) com

I think they're both upstart app-based saving/banking services.
