StingingVelvet: Yes, that's what I was referring to.
MysterD: Yeah, I figured as much.
It's going to be very interesting, to see if it gets a patch on Day 1, Week 1, or not too long later - especially when compared to whatever version's going onto the disc for console players.
I do wonder if digital owners of CP 2077 from consoles or PC - if they'll have the Day 1 patch (that's, of course, if there is one) already shipped w/ the digital download on that day.
Radiance1979: mweh, i'm more of a woodcraft person then a steel handler ;) still drilling a 4 mm hole in iron is well within my reach ;)
i7's and 3080's
MysterD: I wonder what res', framerate, and RTX on/off for any 2000 series cards might fit on these questions of mine - i.e. namely 2060, 2060 Super, 2070 super, 2080, 2080 Supers, and 2080 Ti.
I do understand your question, sorry if i kept it to simple but i did use control as a point of start for this question.
control's recommended system requirements are a 1060 for 1080p high, and a 2060super for low rtx settings 1080p high
so yea the 2060 will do for 2k non rtx though i belief it will be a fairly high usage profile card running at 80 to 100% of its powerdraw at 60 fps but that is speculation
4k on a 2070super with upscaling could be your way to go, you have 2 dlss options, 1080p with rtx or 1440p with rtx which should work more then fine, again if i go full rtx on control where i switch to a upscaled 1280 x 740 resolution the powerdraw is around 70% with peaks towards 80% hence the final verdict that if you would like a no question quality above 1080p you should probably go with a 3070 or a 2080 super. DLSS have proven to work miracles at 4k in a fair list of games
it would be interesting to see how CDR would rate the requirements themselves !
