I've read its a masterpiece horror title different from the others; but it isn't available on Steam or on GOG where it was released in 2012. The publisher apparently lost the license; so its removed from all DD (AFIAK); just like Deadpool was. WHY? And is there a place to buy it now?

I think it may still be available in specific regions for digital download, but doubtful now.

If not, you can hopefully find a 'removed from steam' game seller, they usually want over inflated prices, like $30-$100.
(I only charged $5 for my copies of Cryostasis, while I had them)

If you don't mind getting physical copies, amazon/ebay most likely has it.
