mobutu: I really hope so ;)
Ditto.

Magmarock: I hope to see a release of Crysis in the next batch if this is one of those cases.
Crysis sucks. I hope we are all well aware of that. It was always a mediocre (at best) game that only existed to show off it's technically-excellent graphics, without even any creative visualls and art-design to back that up with.

Aatami: Hopefully WITHOUT the annoying free dlc items that clogs up the shop.
I thought none of the DS2 DLC ever made it to PC? I've got it on Origin (from a Humble Bundle), and there's no overpowered bonus items in the shops, or mention of DLC on the game page.

I think Crysis 1 was one of the best shooters ever made.

I think I'm not nearly drunk enough to deal with that post.
I bought Crysis pretty much just to see how well my shiny new PC could handle "the tech demo game", not expecting anything more than another generic shooter with some very pretty graphics, and ended up really enjoying it. It wasn't amazing, but certainly a lot better than I was expecting (and the little dash of tactical gameplay from the different nanosuit modes was great fun. Pity the sequel ****ed that up completely- now THAT was just another generic shooter without even particularly pretty graphics).

Yes anyone who thinks the first was average needs to checkout the squeals. I like it because there are just so many creative ways to deal with a situation that it just never gets boring.

Grargar: Maybe, maybe not. For the time being, the most likely releases are:

Crysis
Crysis Warhead
Mirror's Edge
Saboteur

All of them will probably come at a slow rate of 1 release/month (with the possible exception of Crysis+Crysis Warhead, that I believe will be released together).
Does Saboteur still have those issues with ATI card users though?

Magmarock: GOG has a habit of releasing their games bit by bit. So when they get the rights to a package of games like this new batch from EA for example. It usually, but not always; means more are on the way within the following weeks. I hope to see a release of Crysis in the next batch if this is one of those cases.
There's a definite possibility that that's a probable maybe perhaps.
We don't really have anything to suggest that Dead Space 2 will come here, but Dead Space 2 and Crysis 2 are the most recent EA games I've liked, so I hope they make the leap over. They've gotta be old enough to justify at this point.
I would love Mass Effect 2 here. Definitely my favorite in the trilogy.

Maybe they patched it but last I played of the Steam version it had all the annoying dlc.

Actually I may have been remembering incorrectly. It's possibly that way in Dead Space 1 and not 2. It was definitely one of them.

I think he was actually talking as best shooters from the series, not best shooters from all the games that were made until now, and if that's the case then I agree with him.
Crysis 2 & 3 went the wrong way.
