It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

We have reported similar problems during past few months, and nothing was fixed.

Can we please get the checksums listed on the offline installer pages themselves? Plain text / a direct link to a download checksum file would do (MD5/SHA1/whatever). This is something some sites have done for years, and it's damn handy when situations arise where the browser thinks it's a complete download, but the installers are corrupt anyway.

Some of us don't want to have to resort to using 3rd party toolkits to nab a checksum (if it exists!). C'mon guys, throw us offline installers a bone here.

Here is a list of files for which the MD5 XML data (not the installer file itself) is currently corrupt, at least for me. Could you please pass the list directly to your tech people. Thank you.

I think the existence of corrupted downloads is a very important problem to solve. It's definitely not a problem of one person or one browser - I've read many reports on the forum so it is not a good thing.

It's also sad to see that there are some people who try to pull the problem out of the forum by low rating all the posts - here and in the other threads about it. The downloads are the important part of GOG services so, for me, such action is even against the interests of GOG and, in the end, it could be very harmful for the company, so I think that you should very carefully inspect this case.

In addition to those mentioned by mrkgnao, are a few I mention at the following post.

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/gogcli_gui_frontend_downloader_and_validator/post129

This is not claiming the downloads don't work for each game, just that the file name, file size and checksum are missing for at least one file per listed game, in GOG's database. This is for either an EXE or BIN file or both, not talking extras.

If they are not missing, then some caching issue is at play, that GOG needs to fix.

It's only been an ongoing issue since some time in February 2022, going by all reports.

hmmm i'm reminded of getting anime back in 2000's we're talking DBZ Bleach and the like, and curiously most of those fan-translated animes had checksums in the filenames, as EP.001 [12345678].avi or something. It's easy, fast, something that can be stripped, and lets you do a check on the file in a script if you want. Best you don't need a separate database to tell you if the checksum matches.
